Public Safety Institute provides firearms training and CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) certification courses approved by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Our services include:
All course registrations are processed through our authorized scheduling platform, Corsizio. By enrolling in a course, you agree to provide accurate and complete information.
Course fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. All fees are clearly stated on the course registration page and include the training and certification materials. Additional range fees (approximately $50) are paid directly to the range facility and are not included in the course fee.
All classes and courses are final, with no cancellations or refunds once enrolled. If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, you may:

Students are expected to:
Public Safety Institute reserves the right to dismiss any student who violates safety protocols, exhibits unsafe behavior, or engages in conduct deemed inappropriate. No refunds will be issued for dismissals due to student misconduct.
Firearms training involves inherent risks. By participating in our courses, you acknowledge and assume these risks. You understand that firearms are dangerous weapons and that improper handling can result in serious injury or death.
Students must sign a liability waiver prior to course participation. This waiver releases Public Safety Institute, its instructors, and affiliated facilities from liability for injuries or damages that may occur during training activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Students are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions that may affect their ability to safely participate in firearms training. Public Safety Institute reserves the right to require medical clearance for participation.
All course materials, including but not limited to handouts, presentations, training materials, and instructional content, are the intellectual property of Public Safety Institute. Students may not reproduce, distribute, or sell these materials without express written permission.
Public Safety Institute may photograph or video record training sessions for promotional, educational, or quality assurance purposes. By participating in our courses, you consent to such recording and the use of your likeness in marketing materials. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify staff in writing prior to the course.
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information on our website, Public Safety Institute makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of website content. Course schedules, pricing, and requirements are subject to change without notice.

Public Safety Institute is not responsible for students' compliance with CCW permit application requirements or for permit approval decisions made by law enforcement agencies.
Public Safety Institute reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our website and services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
